The Newborn Session Experience

Ten tiny fingers
& toes

All those tiny details you don't want to forget captured in a photograph to be cherished forever. There is something magical about bringing home a new baby, cradling them in your arms, and walking from room to room in all those spaces you dreamed they'd be. The image you've pictured in your mind for so long of rocking them in their nursery as they drift to sleep can only be described in one way- perfect.

Being a mother myself, I know all too well how fleeting this time is. I have two girls; London who is nearly three, and Marilyn, who is six months old. I often think while I'm caring for my own babies how I can best capture the love you have for your newborn.

I believe that timeless photos that convey the love and adoration you have for your baby are best created in the comfort of your own home. I want you to feel completely at ease with your little one.

So, What's Next?

Go ahead and click "Lets Chat". I will reach out to you via email. Then, I will to give you a call so we can get to know each other a little before officially meeting. I want you to feel comfortable and confident inviting me into your home to capture this precious time.

Once you are ready, we will mark our calendars for a date around 10-14 days post your expected due date or scheduled cesarian. Of course, we all know babies are quite unpredictable. Because of this, I only take a select number of newborn sessions a month so it's not a problem for me to move your session if need be.

I also offer really easy to follow style guidance that will help you create a look you will adore where the love for your new baby is the focus without any distraction. In the meantime, take a look down below at the featured galleries as well as the frequently asked questions.

What should I wear?

Where will my session take place?

A loose comfortable dress is what I recommend to all my postpartum Mamas. I will provide your with a detailed style guide upon booking that explains what colors and styles I recommend.

Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home. I find that being in your home helps to keep things authentic and makes the images all the more sentimental.

All of my newborn sessions take place in the morning between 9-11 am. I find this is best time to catch that magic morning  light. Additionally, babies are generally happiest in the morning.

Your babies health is always the top priority. If I or anyone in my home is sick I will notify you and we will re-schedule. I also always wear a face mask and wash my hands upon arrival.

What time will my session start?

What if you are sick?

The session I offer is a lifestyle session. The focus is all about welcoming a new baby into your family. I don't do what is traditional referred to as posed newborn. However, the whole session is centered around your sweet baby.

Yes! Most of my newborn clients also book maternity and milestone sessions. I offer a discount for booking multiple sessions. Send me a message and we can build a package specific to your needs.
